Charges Officially Withdrawn in Brampton Court
Ammad Chaudhary saw his charges dismissed on April 9 at Brampton Superior Court, according to confirmation from the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General. The two charges that were dropped include conspiracy to commit theft over $5,000 and being an accessory after the fact.
Court officials have not provided any specific explanation for why the charges were withdrawn. However, court documents reveal that the Crown made this decision after co-accused Arsalan Chaudhary entered a guilty plea and received his sentence the day before.

The theft occurred on April 17, 2023, when approximately $20 million worth of gold bars vanished from an Air Canada cargo facility at the airport.
