The Sudbury Police Service has identified 31-year-old Bryan Eshquib as a person of interest in the case. He faces serious charges including first-degree murder, arson with disregard for human life, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. Tragic Discovery After Early Morning Fire
Emergency responders rushed to the scene in the early hours of June 11 after receiving reports of two tents engulfed in flames at approximately 3:40 a.m. Once firefighters managed to control the blaze, they made a devastating discovery: a deceased individual inside one of the tents. The victim has been identified as a 41-year-old man from Greater Sudbury, though his name has not been publicly released.
This marks the second arrest warrant issued in connection with the deadly fire. Previously, police apprehended 33-year-old Brandon Gramling-McEwan, who now faces multiple charges including first-degree murder, two counts of arson with disregard for human life, two counts of arson causing property damage, possession of incendiary material, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
